The packing solution
Packing Cubes

Yes, this sounds super lame, but I cannot travel without these packing cubes You can pack so much more and better when you use a packing cube. In addition, your clothes stay much cleaner and they are less wrinkled. I bought these three packingcubes at Decathlon and I can fit all of my travel clothes in them. Even when we traveled through different climates for four months. It all fits!

Are you wondering what else I packed for our four-month world trip? Here you will find my packing list!

For sale, among others, at Decathlon from € 9.99. Click here for more information.

An e-reader full of books!
Kobo Clara HD

kobo clara

When I am traveling, I love to chill with a good book. I read whenever I can, while we are traveling in a bus, lying on the beach or on a rainy day in the campervan. Because we try to travel as light as possible, we can not take many books along. I’m therefore super happy with the Kobo Clara e-reader that I got from my sweet parents! Even though it weights less than 200 grams, it easily fits 6000 books. Another advantage of this model is the backlight function, this way I can also read quietly in a dormitory without waking up other people with a lamp.

For sale, among others, at Amazon from € 129.99. Click here for more information.

Playing games!
Uno!

uno

Every night we played card games with old and new friends. Our favorite one: Uno! Many hours did we spent playing this game on the beach, when we were waiting for a flight, or in the evening with a beer in a hostel. When traveling, a card game is really indispensable. This game is known all over the world and therefore perfect to play with people from abroad. It is not big and fits perfectly in your backpack. You can play it with two people, but I also remember an evening on a tiny island in the Caribbean Sea, where we played this game with more than eleven people!

For sale, among others, at Amazon from €3,00. Click here for more information.

Where are we going?
Cork board World Map

worldmap cork

This world map hangs in our living room, a super nice gift from Simone and Daan (Ries his brother). It reminds us every day of the beautiful places we have been. But even better, for future trips, we point pins in the countries we will visit. This way we really have something to look forward to. You can of course also pin photo’s receipts or other travel memories on this board, or pinpoint your travel route.  A great gift to make the receiver think about his previous or next trip!

For sale, among others, at Amazon from € 12,00. Click here for more information.
